About the project

Craft Corps is a book from Vickie Howell, featuring the stories of crafters from all over the world. This site came out one year before the publish date to not only promote the book but also share the many many stories that would not fit in the book. This site is another example of using categories – not only to organize the many different types of craft participants engage in, but also to feature a crafter and share news on the home page. This site also has a “Share your story” form to allow people to submit their own profiles for the site. They can even submit a photo, which is automatically emailed with their profile to be added to the site.
