I looooooove your sites! They are so personal and diverse! I'm just learning web design/dev so I'm a bit new to all of this coming from an engineering background though I am pretty quick with software. I moved my blog from a wordpress.com site to wordpress.org and it's awesome! I bought a theme from themeforest.net and am able to customize everything while learning all kinds of coding and design skills. Just wanted to say great job, keep up the good work!

I've been using Carbonite since I started doing the books for the store. It's great. I don't have to do anything since I set it up. It's all in the background.

I've also heard great things about the Drobo for external backups. It's not for someone with just a little to back up, but if you have a lot, it saves the data in a redundant way across multiple drives of any size that can be switched out (even while it's running) if one of the drives breaks or if you want to add larger drives. And you don't lose data if one drive breaks because of the redundancy.

Sure, it is a great way to save money - but again, only if I was going to spend that money on whatever product or service anyway. Otherwise it is just more stuff - maybe great stuff, but still, not something that helps me pay the bills. I have actually bartered for gifts for my husband and friends, but it is always a case of me contacting the person to purchase whatever it was, and them saying "Hey, I need some work done on my web site anyway, let's just trade!" That is a total win-win. I love that.

I think bartering is a good way to save money. You may come across goods you would never buy but would think about bartering for it, just because it's there. But if you take it seriously and really search for things you need you can make good deals! I barter myself (on www.barterquest.com) for a few weeks now, and already saved a lot of money for birthday presents. It's really worth it!!
